Here's the deal. Most information you read on investing is flat wrong or skewed. If you think you're getting quality investment info from the likes of The Motley Fool, you really are a fool. Well, I shouldn't be that strong...let's just say that you don't know the full truth. Most investment info that you see touted on CNBC and other supposedly "stellar" investment info aggregators are really just filler, fluff, and hype. Novices gobble that stuff up and get nowhere fast. If you wanna chase your tail for the next 40 years listening to those bobbleheads, knock yourself out. But if you really want to learn something, remember this: You have to be willing to go against the grain. That's what this site is all about. So definitely take some deep breaths, give it some deep thought, and then decide if you want to enter into this alternate world--down the "rabbit hole", if you will, of investing. Several ideas I'll present will challenge you and be counter-intuitive--I can guarantee that. But if you're willing to hang in there and really desire to change your thinking about investing, you just might learn a thing or two. Oh yeah, one more thing...I am NOT an investment advisor by any means (I wouldn't stoop to that level), so whatever I say here is merely my own opinion, which obviously I'm very strong about supporting. But, please do your own homework and don't blindly take ANYONE'S financial advice. It's your money...follow no one. Home | Articles | Links |
